Our client:
HUC People are recruiting a Creative Lead on behalf of their client, an award-winning Brand Experience Agency.
What you'll do:
To be the central coordinator of all physical and operational elements to delivering live work. Understanding the client brief and vision and being able to develop a practical, efficient plan to make it happen in a live environment.
An active creative role overseeing the concept and design direction for a wide range of projects
Work together with the project lead, account teams and other internal stakeholders to develop ideas all the way from concepts to outstanding final designs and execution
Ensure work is of the highest standard, in line with the client’s strategic vision and brilliantly implemented.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Utilises the Producer Briefing document to collate and coordinate all project relevant information required to deliver the live experience in line with client expectations. Works in a spirit of accountability ensuring timings, specification and costings are always 100% clear and understood by all team members. Duties include but are not limited to;
Venue research, selection and booking. All associated documentation and legalities
Production supplier briefing, negotiations, documentation, management and trouble shooting
Requests, collates and creates H&S documentation
Understand the artwork process, able to obtain guidelines from suppliers and inputs into the artwork production and sign off process
Data management. Results collation and weekly reporting
Stock logistics management
Staff profiling, booking and training
Works with the team to create a live and logistical plan in order to book respective vehicles, accommodation and kit lists
Obtains samples and proofs of all produced items in order for client / internal sign off
Live onsite management, first point of contact for client service and internal team
Ongoing maintenance during live activity to ensure first day standards and upheld throughout
Business Performance
Understand the basic principles of budgeting and P&L in order to maintain target profitability on projects
Goes through budgets on a weekly basis to ensure jobs are correctly billed and jobs have not gone over estimate, completing the cost tracker in a timely and accurate manner
Works in spirit of time is money applying appropriate levels of effort to tasks in hand so not to over invest
Demonstrates negotiation skills when working with suppliers to ensure we achieve the best price possible. Cross quotes in line with buying better guidelines
Ensures full approval of estimates before money is committed. Obtains purchase orders

Is able to manage upwards ensuring that the working relationship with Line Manager and productive, this includes open, regular communication. Understanding what and when information needs to be shared
