Senior Account Manager (Brand Experience) - London / £40,000-£45,000

Location: London - 3 days in office Salary: £40,000-£45,000



OUR CLIENT:


HUC People are recruiting a Senior Account Manager on behalf of their client, an award-winning Brand Experience Agency. It is an exciting opportunity to join the growing team, working on some of the UKs most iconic brands and building client relationships at a senior level.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


A central role within the client service team leading the day-to-day project management responsibilities of our client campaigns. Understands what success looks like and how best to deliver against it, protecting both the client and agency ambitions.


Client Account Management

  • Good understanding of brand experience and how it works within the marketing mix, able to discuss its merits in line with clients’ brand objectives

  • Able to talk confidently about the agency, it’s clients and the work we are proud of

  • Leads project management by working directly on or overseeing junior team members to complete project documentation such as timing plans, status reports, contact reports, budgets and briefing documents. Always demonstrates best practice and good attention to detail

  • Accountable for delivery against a projects targets, implementation and budgets

  • Able to define key milestones to implementing a client brief including coordinating internal and external team. Ensures deadlines are communicated and met

  • Takes adequate remedial action to identify and resolve problems that may occur during planning and implementation of client workHas adequate understanding of each role within the delivery of brand experience solutions including creative and strategic thinking. Bridges gaps in knowledge and skills as required

  • Ensures processes are respected and that wider team has adequate briefing to enable them to do a great job

  • Works with an appreciation of the agency objectives, protecting business commercials, culture and direction. An ambassador for the agency

  • Does not commit the agency to unrealistic timings or budgets

  • Able to evaluate the success of a campaign against associated objectives and relevant reporting and measurement techniques. Understands ROI in order to scenario plan for future client budgets

  • Demonstrates impressive presentation skills, ability to lead brainstorms and set the agendas for client meetings

  • Builds strong relationships with internal and external teams, understanding their role within the overall delivery of a campaign/project. Assumes overall accountability for campaign activation.


Client development

  • Knowledgeable about clients’ business objectives able to translate these into brand experience solutions including key deliverables. Builds gravitas by being a ‘think for me’ agency person

  • Continually seeks ways to add value to client via information, service and commercial efficiencies

  • In touch with development opportunities within the clients’ team

  • Plays a supportive role in pitching.



Creative and strategical thinking

  • Able to translate client objectives to eloquently brief the design team in writing and face to face

  • Able to comment on how brand experience interacts with other marketing channels

  • Awareness of the creative and strategic intent of campaigns

  • Ability to understand brand strategy

  • Able to imagine and share ideas and thought starters eloquently


Financial management and commercial performance

  • Able to set budgets for smaller client campaigns, ensuring that things are delivered on time and in budget. Will support on budget drafting for larger campaigns.

  • Works in the spirit of ‘time is money’, focusing appropriate effort into tasks and directs others accordingly

  • Ensures approval of estimates before money is committed. Obtains purchase orders

  • Understands the financial governance process and goes through budgets on a weekly basis to ensure costs are posted correctly and jobs have not gone over budget.


People management

  • A central cog internally and externally – works in the spirit of team collaboration

  • On occasion manages junior team members, always leads by example. Able to provide regular, honest feedback and direction to enable team members to work effectively

  • Demonstrates good interpersonal skills when working with other staff

  • Proactively consults with key teams to keep them informed of upcoming workload to ensure timely completion of client projects

  • Ensuring knowledge is effectively shared with other teams in the agency.
